And in other adventures today, I went with Mom to check out our safety-deposit box, only to try to put it back and the bankers could not get it to close. Whoops. Twenty minutes and lots of stymied bankers later, we ended up with a new box because they just couldn't figure it out! haha. Because nothing is ever that easy with the Olson's...

Typical Thursday

Today was a pretty typical Thursday! I woke up at 5:30 to go to the Dailey Method, then walked Charlie, and then headed over to babysit adorable H! And this time I remembered to take photographic evidence of it. Without further ado....

Tomorrow is the weekend!! But it doesn't really mean a lot since I have lifeguarding, dog walking, some dog-sitting, finishing up window cleaning, and then babysitting that night. Whew. Here's to keeping busy this summer!

Oops.

I cannot believe that I had an interesting day...and totally forgot to take ANY photographic evidence of it! I woke up, went and did my lifeguarding shift, then came back home, walked a dog (which turned out to be not much of a walk because she was quite stubborn today), babysat a 5 year old, 3 year old, and 2 month old, then had some lunch, washed some windows, and went to the Dailey Method! I was going to try to see RED 2 tonight with some friends, but it fell through. Here's to another busy day tomorrow! And I promise more pictures :)

Whew. Today was busy, as usual, but now we have the (unfortunate) issue that our poor Lilly has a torn cruciate ligament. Thanks to anatomy, I knew exactly what the vet was talking about when she said that! In humans it's usually a common soccer injury, so we'll just pretend that Lil has been playing too much soccer and needs to tone it down. Haha.

Other than that, today I nannied for cute little H! I'll be doing this every Tuesday and Thursday and he is a doll! Plus their house has this awesome baby cam.

sah-weet. baby is safe, sound, and asleep.

And I also walked the dish! Here is a picture of the little ground squirrels that I see up there. It's pretty cool because they have these funky spots.

 And Wednesday brings lifeguarding, babysitting, and window washing! Plus I'll try to squeeze in some dog walking. I'm here all summer, folks, looking to earn some cash for a car :)

Guess what?

I am now a working woman! :) With an official paycheck and everything. I'm a lifeguard at one of the local pools in the area! It's three days a week in the early morning, when all of the older swimmers come. So far it's been great! I've also lined up a nannying job that's twice a week. Between that, the Dailey Method desk job for free exercise classes, and the other babysitting jobs that I get, I can hopefully earn a good amount of cash towards a car! Back to busy-ness

All right! We're back home in California. And because I just can't relax and stand still, my latest endeavor is that I'm taking a lifeguard certification class! I'm not planning on pursuing a lifeguard job for this summer; it's more of an addendum to my skills as a nanny. Tomorrow is our final day of training and testing-and then that's that!

And that's the update! A isn't home with us yet because he's on his special trip with Grandpa and Amma because he turned eight. We'll see him soon! And in the meantime, try not to panic every time we head out and look for our "missing" brother...

A mini-update so I won't be sacrificed to the hipsters

Haha and that's the latest threat A. has come up with on this vacation.... "blah blah blah OR I WILL SACRIFICE YOU TO THE HIPSTERS!!!!". We're in Washington, and it's been a blast! Busy with baptisms and beach trip planning, (ya like the alliteration??) but SO MUCH FUN with the entire Werner clan!!
