just another normal day

Nothing too exciting today! My schedule looked like this:

9-12:30 Work
1- Cell Bio
2- Spanish
3- Letter/Treats to Sorella Frandsen (Brie from my study abroad!)
4- English (where I turned in our latest project!)
5- Physiology
Then it was grocery shopping, dinner, and gym time. And check out this adorable tweet I got from home:

Hey! That's my brother! Pretty cool, huh? Now I'm off to bed so I can prepare tomorrow for my physiology quiz and test that starts the day after that!

Monday Night Drama

Well, tonight was dramatic to say the least. I was up on campus for another long long day, and then once I was finally home at 8:30 it was time for dinner! We did get this lovely surprise though:

Halloween is only 11 days away! I feel like October has just flown by.

Homecoming weekend update

Saturday was a busy day! And even though it was a lot of volunteer work at the Homecoming parade and then working with my English group on our project, I did manage to have some fun :)

But first-on Thursday I got to go to my first work lunch! Aka a nice powerpoint presentation and a catered lunch.

Now for the parade pictures!

Too bad we lost the Homecoming football game, though.

Mid-Week Mania

Sorry I didn't post yesterday...I was seriously on campus for like 12 hours straight. Boo. And not even for Hike and Light the Y! It was all group projects! Today was pretty good though! I got lots of work done and even made some pumpkin bread so my house spelled like Fall :)

Not much this Monday!

Here's a snapshot of my schedule today:

9-12:30 Work
1-Cell Bio
2-Spanish
3-AEQ for Cell Bio with Nicole (homework practice problems)
4-English
5-Student Development/Service class

Then once I get home at 6, it's time for dinner (tonight it was baked chicken taquitos from the Our Best Bites cookbook), homework, the gym if I can squeeze it in (not today, unfortunately), more homework, shower, and bed! And blogging since I'm really trying to post every day this week, even if it's boring :)

Weekend update!

Fall is finally in full swing around here and it's beautiful! I had a project with the Amateur Radio club until around 2 pm on Saturday, but after that it was up to Provo Canyon to see the foliage.

I wish all these pictures could do it justice!

It's going to be another busy week this week, because it's Homecoming! So lots more events with BYU ARC as well. And the week after this one I have a big English project and another Physiology test. Here we go again!

Sigma Delta Pi

You're looking at the newest member of Sigma Delta Pi, the Spanish honor society! We had a special ceremony today, complete with candles (that we couldn't light due to administrative rules :), flowers, repeat after me's, pins, you name it!

oooh.

And speaking of Spanish...I got a 99 on my Spanish Linguistics test!

Not too shabby, huh? Hopefully the rest of the week will go as well as it has been so far! And check out my new wall decor! (Thanks mom!)

chalkboard calendars=pretty neat.

Well.

It has been a week since I last blogged, and I blame midterms+exhaustion. Every day feels about a week long, but all together it feels like the weeks are flying by! I can't believe it. So I apologize for not blogging. It wasn't like anything exciting happened this week, but the weekend was pretty fun so enjoy all the photos I took.

Tuesday: Derek's birthday.

DL for derek lambert!

snow on top of timpanogos!
Friday-crashed the San Jose mission reunion at the Watkins, then came back to Provo for the Utah State game, which was an embarrassing loss.

taco truck at the reunion!

look at that photobomber....

free sunglasses passed out!
Saturday-woke up early early to go to the Conference Center!

my first time!

of course we had to go here for lunch....

sooo good.

I could barely eat half of it!
Rest of Saturday/Sunday-stayed in Alpine at the Watkins for some R&R and so. much. food. Good thing we went for a little hike.

starting to see some change...

look what I spotted! Either a wolf spider or a baby tarantula.
And now I'm just back to classes, work, and lots of homework. And a splitting headache too :( Tonight calls for an early bedtime once my work is done...
