the countdown begins

In three weeks or so, I should be done with all my finals. WHAT. That means that it's crunch time! Danielle will be gone all week because of an engineering competition in Boston, so for better or for worse it'll be just me and K! Hoping to make it super productive. Yeah!

through the flowers!

Check out the lovely views from my walk to school!

tulips!

smelly blossoms overhead!
Too bad it was a little chilly yesterday and today! Maybe March will go out like a lion more than a lamb!

There's nothing too new to report, but the scary thing is that in exactly one month from today finals will be over and Trish will be getting married! Ahh! How time flies.

Not much of an update...

But an update nonetheless! This week was pretty crazy with three tests in four days! I survived though, and now am preparing for the last month of the semester before finals. Can you believe it? Winter semester is almost done! Then it's on to more work/a few classes this spring and summer.

Danielle wasn't in town this weekend because she had her family's annual ski trip, which meant that I was all by myself in the room! I was actually able to have some good conversations with Kelsey too since we were home at the same time for once.

Last but not least, check out the newest addition to our kitchen! Thank you Hobby Lobby 50% off sale!

eat!! bon apetit!

Temple Tuesday!

Check out this beautiful sunrise I caught on my way up to the temple! I guess Daylight Savings isn't too bad....

Other than that, today included work, a workout with Ali, and an 80 on my Chem test! I was shooting for an 85 but I'll take it :)

Saturday and today

Saturday- BYU Powwow part 2, with lots of free goodies, McFarland, USA movie with Amma and Sadie (Grandpa and Andrew hit up American Sniper), a Pi party with the ward, and Cinderella with Danielle, Kelsey and Lizzie!

Clubs Showcase....check!

Tonight was the Clubs Showcase! I was very worried that no one would be there, we'd have 80 brownies leftover, and it would be all in all a failure.  But no! Tonight we got rid of all the brownies (even though there wasn't a huge turnout...) and even had a couple of great conversations about ham radio! Check it out:

hey mr. president

they're radios! get it?!

Almost the weekend....too bad it's a busy one!

Exciting news today! I got a half-tuition scholarship for Spring and Summer 2015!!! Woohoo!!! I'm super happy and so grateful.

yay!

Today I just had work, so I was able to prep for tomorrow's Club's Showcase and made some sweet flyers. Too bad I made a typo-hopefully no English majors will be stopping by.

Now I'm just wrapping up homework after a delicious dinner and visiting Amma and Grandpa Ned, who are staying at the Werner's this week.

In news from home, check out these two peas in a pod:

And that's all for Thursday! This weekend should be fun but a busy one. Time to get crackin'!

Tuesday=Good news day!

Did you like that little rhyme? Good news is that I got an 85 on my chem test (and one of the problems was a little weird so it should go up!), made it to BYUARC where we planned the Clubs Showcase that's on Friday, and my NyQuil is kicking in so I should be actually able to sleep tonight because I'm pretty tired right now! Love you see you goodnight all! Picture for today-spotted in the library back offices-A MUPPET!

Temple Tuesday!

Today was a great day! Apparently I should wake up early more often ;)

I love this picture I got of the temple on the way in (at ~7:20 this morning).

I was in and out in an hour, which is amazing given the usual volume of traffic! Since it's IHOP National Pancake Day I even made a healthy pancake (literally just cream cheese and eggs! although Danielle says her mom has a recipe with cottage cheese and oats that's super good too.)

Then I went up to campus for class, and when I walked out it looked like this:

But coming home from the gym after work looked like this:

that's utah for you!

Oh well! March is certainly coming in like a lion.

March! With a side of snow?

That's right, it's March 2nd and we had quite the little snowstorm tonight for a couple of hours! Check out the pictures below-it was like being in Disneyland under the fake snow!

Today I also had the opportunity to listen to the acting Mexican Ambassador to the US speak! Pretty cool.

Disney withdrawls....

Yes, I may or may not have worn my Minnie ears to dinner at the Werner's tonight.

:)

It was a quiet day today! Just hanging out, relaxing, and fitting in some math review.

can you spot lulu?

Hunger Banquet and a doofy DUFF

Friday night brought BYU's Hunger Banquet, a fundraiser for multiple NGO's and an event to raise awareness of poverty around the world as well as locally. It's also been pretty stormy all weekend!
