It was a pretty big snowstorm yesterday, and it looks beautiful. I like either a lot of snow or none at all (no gross gray slush/frozen dirty snow, please).

Saturday shenanigans
On Saturday, I got up early and went to the gym, had brunch with Onnie, and then went grocery shopping. That afternoon, we were spontaneous and went sledding with Claire and Caitlin!! In true college kid fashion, we went without traditional sleds and slid down on cookie sheets instead. I'll admit, I thought it was going to be a big fail, but they work remarkably well! Just in case you find yourself wanting to sled but with no actual sled.

Recap: Christmas and a Concussion
Before I get going with life right now, I thought I'd do one last recap of Christmas break because it was quite adventurous-from the title, yes, someone even got a concussion!
For Christmas, we headed out to Idaho to spend some time in Boise and then head up to McCall. Little did we know that a major power outage meant that we'd spend more time in Boise than expected! But we finally made it and had an amazing time.
After Idaho, we headed back to California for a couple of days (over New Years/New Years Eve) and then the real adventures began...
On New Years Day, as a family, we had some fun go karting at the church until....onnie crashed! And whacked her head. So off to the hospital she went.
We flew back to Utah the next day, so that was exciting, but to have a concussed sibling on top of that made for some real entertainment! Luckily there was no brain bleeding, and she basically slept the whole time.
Onnie stayed with me that night, and then it was back to normal (aka another semester!). And that's that!

Happy 2016/Quick Update
Surprise, it's me! I know, it's been a while...and by a while I mean almost an entire semester! To be honest, this past Fall was one (if not the) of the hardest semesters I've experienced. My plate was full with difficult science classes, working 20 hours a week, multiple clubs, and helping Onnie adjust to life as a freshman (!) here at BYU. This semester, I scaled back academic-wise (don't worry, I'm still on track to graduate! eventually!) and am actually finding time to go to the gym, read books, and start some research with a professor (more on that later). So yes, Clearly Clean and Classy is back! And I have no excuse for not blogging, so I plan on posting several times a week now that my life is more than just homework, school, and work. Here we go!
