what a wonderful weekend!

I swear, every weekend I promise myself that I will stay on top of it and post Friday's adventures on Friday, Saturday's on Saturday...but here I am, once again, posting on Sunday about the entire weekend. Oops :) So here it goes!

Friday: For Peer Youth Mentoring, we went to the planetarium in the Eyring Science Center! I had never been, so it was fun to see it for the first time. Unfortunately, I followed in the steps of my dad at the Rosacrution Museum and fell asleep. Hopefully I didn't snore...
After classes and mentoring, it was time for homework, a Mary Kay demonstration in Chipman Hall's basement (=free facial, satin lips and satin hands!), and the final home gymnastics meet in the Marriott Center. We were second out of three teams, so not losing, but not winning either. Then we used our coupons to go get free Yogurtland! After that tasty treat, we drove out to Utah Lake to look at the stars. Cold but fun!

Saturday: We had a sleepover Friday night, since M, C's roommate, is out of town all weekend. I woke up early to head to my math review, and then we went to use more of our coupons for a discounted lunch at Guru's. I had shrimp tacos with mango salsa-yummy. Then we went to the Mt. Timpanogos temple for an afternoon session, came back home for dinner, and watched Sherlock Holmes 2. And more sleepovers! Yeah!

Sunday: Well, C and T slept in too late and missed their church at 10:30, so we all went to my ward! Woohoo! Then we ate linner at the Cannon Center, cleaned up C's bedroom, and returned our DVD from last night. There's a CES broadcast at 6 that we're going to watch, and then it'll be time to Skype with these crazies who have been in Sacramento for a field hockey tournament and some ham convention! Love them and miss 'em like crazy :)
