Officially summer!

Well! It's been a while since I've posted, due to pressing issues like finals, moving out, and moving in back home to California. But now that all that's over, I can get back to blogging! I figure that this summer won't be super exciting to read about, because I'm trying to work as much as I can to save up for a car to take back to Provo. But if you'd still like a little glimpse into what's happening, stay tuned!

For now, here's a photo recap of my last week in Provo.

I finally declared Spanish as a second major!
It took a while to get all the paperwork sorted out, but it's official now!
On Friday the 21st I took A (who was in town for a BYU music camp) to Salt Lake to see one of her favorite bands, The Front Bottoms, perform. We dragged along my roommates as well and had some crazy adventures(what else would you expect?).

Exhibit A: The concert was in an iffy part of town, so when C and I needed to use the restroom, we decided that crashing the Grand American would be safest. And crash it we did!

at the concert!

there they are!
After that, we packed and cleaned on Saturday to be able to catch flights and officially move out. But not before we had our final Martinelli's toast:

And then Sunday brought a very long drive home. To distract ourselves, A would use her toy muppet to wave at others who were stuck in traffic with us. It sounds pretty weird but it's super funny to see everyone's reactions.

And today was a lot of unpacking and arranging babysitting jobs! We did take a break and check out this new store in downtown Palo Alto called Cream-where they sell ice cream sandwiches! Very fun and cute.

Tomorrow brings the first of many babysitting jobs. It'll be a long and busy day (that will hopefully pay off well :)). And that's my catch up!
