Today was church, relaxing, and then a movie night! Star Trek: into Darkness was the choice.

Our new beanbags have worked really well! Plus they're pretty cute, and match our house theme color! 

Tomorrow brings some work and A gets her wisdom teeth out. Very exciting. She's a little worried about it but I told her the worst thing that could happen is that she could get infected sockets like I did...hope it all goes well!

Yesterday we went up to the city and watched BYU play in the Kraft Fight Hunger Bowl against UW. It was a bit of a family rivalry, with Grandpa Ned being pro Husky and the rest of us being Cougar fans. In the end, the Huskies won (sad face), but we at least put up a good fight in the first half!

Christmas and Monterey

Today we went to the Monterey Bay Aquarium and it was a ton of fun! For one thing, it was seriously 75 degrees and sunny (gorgeous!) and we got to both go to the Aquarium and see all the fascinating exhibits and check out a little bit of downtown Monterey as well.

twas the night before christmas

After a wonderful Christmas Eve day and dinner, it is time for bed! Whew! Today we walked the Stanford Dish, got some sun (high of 75!), and then at home relaxed and prepped for dinner, which consisted of prime rib, brussel sprouts, squash, rolls, and salad. Then apple pie, ice cream, and homemade chocolate sauce. Mmmm.

Today we had lunch at Intel with Dad, visited their museum, and I hit up Dailey Method (which thoroughly kicked my butt after a four month hiatus) and then bathed Lil. Today was full of last minute errands for Christmas, and it turned out to be quite the adventure! I can't say where all these pictures are from because I don't want to give anything away, though, so no telling if you have a clue!

Home.

Home and I finally am blogging again! I luckily made my flight before they closed the SLC airport down yesterday, and am loving the blue skies, sun, and clean air in California. Plus the company's not so bad!

Today was some catching up and doctor's appointments and errand running, and then tonight was a spontaneous trip to the Palo Alto Theater with mom to see Little Women, which I enjoyed!

Here's what's happened:

Ah so close but so far! I made it on time to my Econ final even though I had to wake up at 6, and finished in about an hour and forty minutes. I think it went ok but I guess we'll just have to see!!!

The rest of the day was spent packing and trying to study for accounting, but I wasn't as successful/focused as I wanted to be. So because I'm feeling exhausted because I woke up so early, I'm thinking I'll go to bed early again and then get up and study more intensively before I take my test.

both C and I packing...but she's going for 18 months!

C's mission call didn't come today, which means I won't be there for its opening :( sad day! But I'm expecting a phone call or a text the minute my plan lands. Which leads me to the fact that in less than 24 hours I will be home! Woohoo! Christmas in California here I come!

Aaaand a 93 on the Doctrine and Covenants exam today! Not bad not bad. Tomorrow, though, is the dreaded Economics exam at 7 in the morning...and then I'll have to take Accounting early Wednesday. Eeeeww.

You'll notice that I'm actually blogging a little earlier in the evening (it's a Christmas miracle!!) because I would like to study for a little bit more and then try and get some rest since lately sleep has been quite evasive. So goodnight, wish me luck, and here it goes!

Done with Humanities! I had to take it in the Humanities Testing Lab which unfortunately doesn't tell you your score instantly, so we'll find out later. I felt like it went ok though! So hopefully not too horrible :)

I woke up early to get to the library and study in the morning, and this is what I woke up to..

Today went pretty well! I was able to sleep in, head to some important reviews, and even check out the outlets! Tomorrow brings studying, some textbook sellback and then my Humanities final at 3. Ahh wish me luck!

last day of fall classes

Today was the last day of Fall classes! Can you believe it? Tomorrow brings several reviews and prepping for finals, which for me start on Saturday. Ahh!

No pictures today-sorry! I should've taken some at our BYU ARC Christmas party tonight, which was super fun with a potluck, games, and a movie, but I totally forgot! Oh well.

And now I'm off to bed! And I don't have to get up until 8 am. Woohoo! That's a win-win for me!

Just finished my final Great Questions Journal for Humanities. Turned it in. Now it's off to bed so I can get up tomorrow and head to my last classes of the semester! Including turning in my last Econ assignment (10 pages!!), going to my D&C class for a review for the final, and hitting up two or three of the Econ final reviews. Then it's the BYU ARC holiday party that night. Whew.

Like I said....I will survive!!!
