Happy birthday mom!

PSA: This lady is half a century today. I know. She doesn't look it. How unfair is that?! Let's hope I can look half as good as she does in 30 years.

As you may have guessed, I survived FOL and am back at work, trying not to think about the looming deadline of summer and start of my fourth year at BYU. That means I started this little blog four years ago to appease my parents worried about what the heck their 17-year-old was doing at university. Two majors, a minor, a study abroad, and three apartments later, here I am again! Below are some pictures from FOL and then I'm off to bed to try and recover before school starts over for another semester.

Well! I'm currently questioning my sanity, because I just finished helping Onnie unpack and move into her room, redo my living room, and am now packing to help at FOL starting Monday. Whew! I think I'll need to sleep for a week after I come home on Wednesday.

Updates for Days

Long story short-made it back to California with Mom. Car went to get smogged, didn't pass, we ran around like crazy people to get it fixed, got it fixed, had to pack later because of it, got in Wednesday at 2 am to Provo, have been trying to get things repaired/cleaned for back to school. Whew.

La Nay Ferme

So! Last week I won an Instagram contest where I got a half-share of La Nay Ferme's weekly harvest for free. I picked it up today and couldn't be more excited to eat it! It's inspiring me to start cooking again.

Just work this week. Tomorrow night I do have FOL training though! I'm on the Operations team this year, which should be interesting! I'm excited!

Scotch n' Sodas and Sunday

Last night we got Boise's famous Scotch n' Sodas! Aka lemon-lime soda with butterscotch flavoring and lemon. And it was good!

Then my family left for California this morning at 5:30 am, while I waved goodbye and then went back to bed until it was time for church with Grandma Ann at 9. They had a senior couple's homecoming-they served in the Marshall Islands. Very cool! I left right after Sacrament Meeting and am now back in Provo getting ready for the week. Then on Saturday it's another road trip, this time to California! Whew!
