But before dead week, a Saturday recap! I woke up at around noon, immediately took some DayQuil, and realized that with the power of modern drugs, you can do anything! Our ward left at 3:45 to drive up to SLC to see the lights at Temple Square. It hadn't changed much since last week...

It was really neat to visit the Conference Center and see the decorations for the Christmas Devotional, which, conveniently, I watched tonight at J&J's! Unfortunately I fell asleep through Pres. Eyring and Monson's talks. Whoops. Comfy couches + a full tummy + slightly sick Kj= a nice naptime. It rained this afternoon and evening, I'm hoping for some snow so I can ski this year!
The upcoming week is "dead week", or the preparation week before finals. We don't have any classes on Friday, and truthfully, most of the week we're just reviewing in our classes. I'm ready for finals just so I can go home, but I'm nervous about how they'll affect my grades! Wish me luck!
