Whew! Today was certainly busy, and most certainly an omen of what is yet to come! I registered to take my Spanish final on Friday-I'm excited...to get it over with! For all of my classes, this week is just a giant review. Luckily, in Spanish, our final is counted basically as just another test. It's nice to not have a ton of pressure, like calculus, where it counts for 25% of my grade!
I went to a leadership meeting for the ARC this afternoon and helped plan our Christmas party-apparently the tradition is to have "trash can pig"- and trash can pig we will have! I guess it's just a pig roasted over a trash can with the fire in the trash can. It has a certain air of class about it, no?
And finally, the day was rounded out with my first organ recital! I wasn't playing in it, but for my Music 115 class we need to attend an organ concert and do a write-up about it. My teacher was performing in this particular concert, so M. and I headed over to the HFAC to see her play! I'll be honest-after awhile, they all sound the same. Just so you know.
So that was my day today! Tomorrow brings a RS pajama pizza night, la Festival de Navidad where my Spanish class is singing "Riu Riu Chiu", and a much-needed trip to the organ lab. Falalalalala...I can't wait for Christmas and heading home! T-minus 11 days!
