not-thick thursdays

Well. I have to say that I am so glad I bought that aerobics class, because I see a lot of not-thick Thursdays, fit Fridays, spinning Saturdays, and all sorts of other exercise-y days coming up. But before I get into the recap of Zumba (!), the rest of my day has to be mentioned first. Otherwise, this post would be exciting and then quite dull. It's much more interesting to have a kind of reward for making it all the way through a post, don't you think? :)

Classes today were my Chem recitation section, Book of Mormon, where I found out that L.H. and my roommate are in the same class as me, and my Calc lab. Stopped by "the Hub", or the freshman area in the library, to score some free swag. Some more time was spent in the math lab, then it was lunch with C. at the Blue Line Deli in the Tanner Building. After that, more homework, and then it was off to the Wilk for an "academic fireside"-aka attend this meeting and get a free cleaning check. A dinner of Taco Bell (not my choice, but I guess I can suffer through gross fast food every once in a while...), then off to ZUMBA.

So. Zumba. I don't know how many of you know this, but I cannot dance to save my life. Synchronized sports, the Macarena, and other line dances are about all I can handle in terms of coordinated movement and still looking halfway decent. So Zumba was really hard for me! It's tougher than it looks to move your arms, feet, and booty all at the same time to super fast-paced music. But it was a great cardio workout and I sheepishly grinned and laughed at myself the entire time. So we'll see-maybe if this keeps up, I could join the Cougarettes or something! Haha. Or-far more likely-maybe be able to dance in a well-lit room and not totally die of embarassment.

Tomorrow I have class until 11, and then I'm out! So I can hopefully get some work done before we do whatever for our epic weekend. Shoutout to A. and mom-congrats on surviving this week of seminary :) Hopefully we both can keep getting up and making it to our respective classes/early morning obligations!
