Finally February!

Ok, ok-I'm sorry for the lack of weekend updates! As you'll soon read, it was quite busy and fun, if that makes up for it.

Friday
chem class. can you see the flame?
Surprise, surprise, Friday was full of the usual run-down of classes and homework. One exciting event was that for PYM we got to listen to a presentation from the animation department at BYU and we got to watch a newly released short, called "Esteban"-about a hairdresser. Then it was studying, time for dinner, and then-to C.'s mission call opening! I know he'll be an awesome missionary in Papeete, TAHITI!
That night we all went to the Awful Waffle for fun and to finally try their food.

friends.

cream cheese and raspberries. not too shabby!

more amigos.
Then it was off to bed so I could get up early for a Calc review on:

Saturday
So I had my two hour calc review in the morning, and then it was time for lunch, homework, a trip to the gym, registering for spring classes, and the Saturday night adult session of our stake conference. It was great! And after that, dinner and the men's volleyball game vs. CSU Northridge, which we won and also had great seats to! (for once we weren't in the back bleachers! yeah!)

let's go cougars!
And after that...a crazy walk to Walgreen's to drop off C.'s disposable camera and a stop at the Cocoa Bean.
Look what we found on the way!
Memories mom/dad?!
 Sunday
We went to Stake Conference, which was in the Smith Field House (and started at 10 am! Oh the horror!). Then, it was back to the dorms to relax before heading to J&J's to watch the Super Bowl. T and C tagged along too!

the fam back at home in California
It was sad to watch the 49-ers lose, but I think it was still awesome that they made it that far! The only annoying thing was how long the game went, especially with the delay because of the power outage!!

some people just didn't make it through...
And now, it's bedtime so I can wake up and study my tush off the entire week! Hopefully I'll be able to take my Spanish test tomorrow, Calc on Wednesday, and Chem on Friday. We'll just see how it goes and what adventures come up!
