mini study break

As you may have guessed, I'm writing this to take a quick break from studying for the dreaded chem test. I know once I take it, though, that I'll finally be done with round one of midterms and I can fully enjoy my Valentine's day and President's Day 3-day weekend!

Today was Sweet Hour of Service with BYUSA, and I brought T. and C. along too! I would like to think they had fun...our activity was making valentines and corsages/boutonnieres for an assisted living home in Provo.
valentine's galore!
I even got some myself-from home, that is! I received a sweet v-day package, complete with heart lights to be strung up in our room and a mini coupon book. Sweet and fun.

I'm the favorite college kid
in the family...
In my math lab today I earned an even deeper respect/love for my Algebra II Honors teacher in high school-we're going over partial fractions as a technique of integration and as part of that, matrices or "Row-Echelon form" was brought up. I can't believe I learned this as a sophomore in high school! Thank heavens for awesome teachers who are truly dedicated to learning.

math.
I'm so excited for Valentine's Day-it's one of my favorite holidays! I always have great memories associated with it, plus I love pink and red! I'm trying to convince T. to do my hair like this...

...we'll see if I can convince her to! And now it's back to the books. Wish me luck tomorrow! I'll have PYM, which is apparently talking with student athletes (cool!), and then study some more, and then take my test! After that it's watching the Mr. Heritage competition, maybe the women's gymnastics meet, and Hang Time! ALMOST THERE.
