Sorry for the lack of updates! I promise, I can explain...
Friday was super rainy! I finally had a chance to break out my yellow Hunters :) A picture of my happiness: cupcakes, cocoa, and rain boots! Plus I love the smell of cars in the rain, so a drive around P-town to complete some errands was the epitome of perfection.

love me some rainy day outfits! dots on dots :) |

mint oreo=mint chocolate chip? nooope chuck testa. |

hazelnut cocoa=yum! |
Then after some errand running, it was down to the basement to watch scary movies and make cake pops to send back home. The first part of making cake pops never looks that attractive,
but they taste delicious!

bake the cake. pops. |
Not only did we make some delicious treats, we also tried out our favorite hairstyles from pinterest! Thanks T. for the awesome braid. I wish I was talented enough to do it myself!

thanks t.! |
...moral of the story is that we didn't go to bed until 2 am. And I had to get up at 7 am to head over to the Homecoming parade to help the Amateur Radio Club with communications. Believe it or not, I was on time and ready to go!
 |
the gang's all here! |
No worries, I too received a bright and obnoxious orange vest; they just hadn't gotten all of them delivered yet. My favorite float in the parade is one that I know A. will love-it was for the auxiliary services at BYU and it was LEGO-themed!

The lego man is Karl Maeser, one of the
first leaders of BYU.
(If you look up a picture of him, the likeness is uncanny!) |
Then it was time for the football game! After lunch with S. and K. from my hall at Legends Grille. The final score wasn't pretty...but it was a fun game! After dinner and then a quick chocolate fix with K. I went for a run and am currently closing out the evening with a movie night! This time it's not scary, though-Pride and Prejudice with Keira Knightley. Sigh. So beautiful!! Is it to much to ask to be married to the love of my life for the rest of my life? :)
Church tomorrow and dinner at J&J's. Then the upcoming week brings a visit from my dad on Saturday! I'm excited :) But first, to survive yet another week of school...
Glad to see you are having fun! I love you!
