laundry day

Wednesdays are my laundry day. Which usually means far too many random clothes hanging out to dry around my dorm (sorry roomies!), and a good hour or two down here:

 It actually works out pretty well to do homework while I wait for clothes to wash, because a) I don't have to worry about anything fishy happening, like missing clothes or extra clothes put in with mine, and b) I'm right there when the wash is done, so I can start drying right away without wasting time or risking my clothes being thrown in a bin by the next girl who wants to wash.

There's even a desk and chair, so I can put my computer on the ironing board and listen to music while I take notes, like I did today!

I must say, I'm ready for the weekend. I'll be driving up to Boise with good friend K. to see Train, Mat Kearney, and Andy Grammer in concert! And of course say hi to the grandparents up there, since they ARE kind enough to donate the tickets and sleeping space. It's basically my birthday present, so I'm going to make the most of it! But first, to get through Thursday...
