número uno: and an early birthday celebration!

The first post! I have always been a follower of blogs, never actually blogging about myself. I thought this would be a fun experiment. We'll see how it keeps up!

Woke up this morning to get ready for our MASSIVE stake conference. The Marriott Center was filled to maximum capacity to hear Elder Dallin H. Oaks speak. It was wonderful to be able to hear an apostle of the Lord; not so wonderful to have to sit on bleachers the entire two hours!

Since it's my 18th birthday tomorrow, I took some friends over to J&J's house for dinner and cake.

Beautiful cake that was just as yummy as it looked.

 The perfect recipe for a good time? Friends, family, food, and blasting Taylor Swift and Bon Jovi on the way home. I'll finally be an adult tomorrow-so my only chance to act childish is tonight! Better live it up at ward prayer...
